This great pair of sparkly vintage 1950's confetti Lucite earrings were made by Coro. They remind me of black opal with lots of iridescent color and fire. The confetti Lucite is framed with two curved lines of gold tone metal.
My photos make the earrings appear darker than they actually are as they are loaded with iridescent rainbow colored confetti. The back clips are set on an angle for a most flattering fit. Each is signed, "CORO".
The earrings measure 1 1/8" long by 3/4" wide.
They are in excellent to mint condition.
Coro History: Coro, Cohen & Rosenberger began early in the 1900's in Providence, Rhode Island. As CORO they are familiar to all costume jewelry lovers. CORO made jewelry from about 1920 until the 1970's. Pieces are highly collectable and continue to rise in value.
