Vintage RODO Leather Handbag Clutch Purse Italy

This sleek and chic RODO bag is of beautiful leather and is fashioned with simple, elegant style. The leather is a soft latte or taupe color. Crisp, clean lines with a full side flap in a design that suggests a bow without any of the fluff.

A snap closure is concealed underneath. There is a detachable shoulder strap that snaps in place on the inside so the bag can be carried as a clutch or a shoulder bag and it works perfectly for day and evening.

It is lined in chocolate brown RODO logo fabric and has a zippered interior pocket. It is marked with an interior plaque, "RODO MADE IN ITALY". Circa 1980's. The handbag is of fine style, craftsmanship and is in excellent, near mint condition.

History: Rodo was founded in 1956 by Italian-born Romualdo Dori. Rodo's handmade collections featured the highest quality skins and the finest fabrics, metals and other embellishments in its production of shoes and handbags. All were created in-house with the skills of a master craftsman.
