Japanese wooden three tiered storage box. Gorgeous natural wood grain – the set is made of teak with mahogany veneer.
Three compartments total. Each stacks securely upon the other and the top cover or lid has a high polish brass knob. This handsome box is elegant in its simplicity.
Circa 1950's. Foil sticker reads, "Teak Mahogany Ply – JAPAN". The beautiful stack of boxes measures approximately 6 3/4" tall and is 6 1/4" across the top. The base is 4 7/8" across. Each compartment is 1 7/8" deep.
Condition is excellent. Small very small spot of veneer loss that does not detract. No scratches, cracks, or warp. Compartments fit into each other for storage.
Finely hand crafted set, a great storage piece, and an excellent addition for the collector of vintage Japanese pieces or of wood ware.
