Antique German Silver Ladies' Necessary Case/Purse

This is one of the largest and most exquisite silver necessary case I've ever seen! From the late 1800's to early 1900's made in Germany, the purse is intricately decorated in a European Art Nouveau pattern of chrysanthemums, both on the front and back. It has an attached silver link chain. The clutch opens to reveal a space for dimes, nickels, and quarters; a mirror; an empty compact (which could be filled with slip in Eye shadow, lipstick, or blush...from Sephora)which pops open. The opposite inside features leather pocket for carrying cash, credit cards, business cards, and a hankie. What more could you need?

The purse is 3 1/4 inches wide and 4 5/8 long. It weighs 184 grams. The center medallions are blank, thus suitable for YOUR personal engraving. There is slight scratching, which one would expect for a case of this age. There are no dents or dings. The piece is marked German Silver, but I would say it is silver plated as a bit of the upper right corner has rubbed off to expose brass underneath.
