Georgian British Sterling Tea Service,1810, Burrows
The creamer and double-handled sugar bowl are gold washed inside. All pieces have four lovely ball feet. The teapot bears the most clear assay marks for this time I've ever seen, with matching assay/date mark on the teapot lid. The classic wooden handle and finial of the teapot is slightly worn.
The weight of the teapot is 640 grams; the sugar 370 grams; and the creamer 260 grams. The teapot is 11 inches spout to handle. It is 6 inches tall and 4 5/8 inches in width. The double-handled sugar pot is 8 inches handle to handle. The body width is 4 inches, and body length is 5 1/4 inches. The body height (including the ball feet) is 3 inches and height from table to handle is 4 3/4 inches. The creamer is 5 3/4 inches, lip to handle. Body width is 3 1/8 inches. Body length is 4 1/2 inches. Body height is 3 inches, and it is 4 3/8 inches from table to handle.
