British Sterling George IV 1830 Salt Cellar Pair

Fully hallmarked, from London, 1830, I present to you these two Georgian British sterling salt cellars. They were made by the silversmithing family of Edward Barnard and his three sons - Edward Jr., John, & William. The hallmarks are bright and clear.

The round, pedestalled salts have heavy gadrooning on the lip with four scrolled feet and an acanthus leaf at the tip of each foot. They are both monogrammed "RTW" on the body. There is some scratching on the inside.

These salts weigh 240 grams sterling together. They measure out at 1 5/8 inches tall and 3 3/8 inches diameter each.
