China Trivet/Tea Tile

This is such a lovely old china trivet. It has pink and white carnations on a white background. I love using these, not just for my hot teapot, but as a coaster for flower vases or a big pitcher of lemonade or iced tea; a pedestal for a pillar candle; and just for a cheery summer decoration. This is most probably from England, is completely unmarked, but in pristine condition. It was likely made in the early 1900's. The trivet measures 6 1/2 inches in diameter.
