A beautiful lady in a fabulous Art Nouveau profile adds an elegant touch to this miniature frame. It was made mid century, for the miniature/doll industry in France and originates from Paris. We have placed a paper picture inside for reference and display.
The frame opening measures 1 1/4" wide (at widest point) and 2" tall. The paper photo that we have inside measures 2" tall x 1 1/4" wide. The opening is curvy, representing the flowing locks of the beautiful lady's hair. The cast portrait has lovely facial features with a serene expression.
The frame has a fold out easel for standing as well as a loop for use with a ribbon. The picture is placed inside the rectangle slot in the back. It measures: 2 1/8" tall, 1 7/8" wide at wides point, the easel depth is 1 1/8". It is in solid and useable condition.
This ever-so-Parisian frame would be beautiful in a doll vignette or with a cherished old photo.
