Miniature Louis XV Style French Fauteuil (Chair)

Perfect for a doll vignette or to use on a dressing tray to hold jewelry, this little piece is versatile and charming. It is made of walnut. It has beautifully curved legs with carved scrolling detail. In the center front of the lower seat is a medallion of flowers and scrolls. The top of the back of the seat repeats this same medallion. The caned seat and chair back has been done by hand.

The chair measures: 9 3/4" tall to the center back, 4 3/4" wide at the bottom front, 4" deep front leg to back leg. The seat measures 4 3/4 deep by (at the wides front) 5 1/8" wide. The condition is excellent, the chair is solid and sound.
