This charming beauty was created to be a part of a French fashion doll vignette. It comes from Paris.
It is an exact replica of it's larger counterpart. There are four dainty turned legs, each with a square heading which features four pressed rosette flowers. Each leg is fluted and tapers downward with a wider ring at the bottom and delicate pointed feet. There are curved arms which connect to the base. Each arm is fluted with a scroll design on the outer edge. The back has a molded frame. The frame is made of maple stained to a walnut color.
It is upholstered in a beautiful crimson red stripe, with sturdy and firm cushions on the back and seat. It measures: 9 1/2" tall, 4 1/2" wide across bottom front and back feet, 4 1/2" deep front to back feet; the seat measures 4 3/4" front to back and 5 3/4" across.
The wooden frame and upholstery are in excellent and solid condition.
It awaits a lovely young French fashion mademoiselle, to serve as a luxurious accent to her home.
