A handsome and amusing pitcher, it presents a jolly horseman with a jaunty fox behind him, serving as a handle.
It is colorful, the horseman wears a bright orange-red riding jacket. He has a determined expression on his face as he grips the riding crop. The little fox is perched behind him, alluding to the ever-so-crafty ability for a fox to be just out of site.
The pitcher is in very good condition. There are no visible cracks or chips. It measures: 8" tall, 7" wide (top lip to back of fox handle), 5" (bottom circumference).
This is a vintage piece (early twentieth century). It would be gorgeous on a bookshelf or as part of an equestrian vignette.
