Pair of Miniature French Metal Louis XVI Chairs
They are made of silver metal and are heavy for their diminutive stature. They have been finely cast with lots of very fancy detailing so loved by the French. The cushions are of velvet (they are glued to the metal frame) and are very plush to the feel. The chairs have lovely little upturned feet and faux ruby stones at the top of the backs.
They each measure: 4 1/4" to top middle back, 2" square at the bottom. The seats each measures: 2" wide and 1 3/4" deep.
They would be beautiful displays for a favored strand of pearls or for use as an accessory on an antique French table (perhaps atop rich leather books). We sell them together as a pair.
