MASHIKO VASE 7 1/8 Stunning Sakura Tree Design ca 1960s - Superb, Large, & Rare!

A superb art pottery VASE from Mashiko (Machiko) Japan dating from the 1960's. This piece came from the estate of a retired US Navy Admiral and was collected in the village of Mashiko while he was stationed in Japan. This magnificent 7 1/8 inch vase features a sublime sakura or cherry tree design in red browns, sand, and black, and glazes. By an unknown Mashiko artisan. This piece would make a stunning addition to any art pottery collection.
