Fine set of silver spoons, coated in 14k gold, engraved and accented to give the mixed metal effect I love so much! The spoon bowls are engraved each with a different chalet. The wintry silver on gold provides a realism and depth that is remarkable. The stems are decorated with ribs, with beads, with silver on gold bell-flowers and terminate with an extravagant confection of four beaded acanthus leafs. Condition is excellent. And these spoons come in the original velvet lined box, which is in quite nice shape itself. Not perfect, but very nice. The deep burgundy velvet sets the spoons of so nicely.
