VAGUER : Antique French Sterling Silver Figural Bird Salt Cellar

A truly charming late 19th century French sterling silver figural salt cellar in the form of a baby bird, by Parisian master jeweler and silversmith Alexandre VAGUER. This beautifully detailed salt cellar is stamped with the French Minerve 950 silver mark on body and base, French Boar silver mark on the bird's wings, and maker's mark for VAGUER active in 1887, rue du Temple, Paris. The condition of this highly decorative, very collectible salt cellar is very good. Please refer to listing images for measurements and weight.
