Antique French Hand Painted Portrait Miniature Dore Bronze Frame - Artist Signed

France, 19th century

This is a beautiful and decorative hand painted miniature portrait depicting an 18th century aristocratic lady.

Painted on a thin celluloid wafer, the miniature is set within a rich dore bronze frame under slightly convex glass. The painting is signed by the artist 'Aubry'.

Both the painting and frame are in excellent condition with no damage.

Measurements: Frame Height 3 3/8 in. Width 2 3/4 in. Painting Diameter 2 3/16 in.
