Frankenthal Wessel Porcelain Napoleonic General Military Figure - Hand Painted
Frankenthal porcelain Napoleonic military figure, polychrome and gilt, titled on naturalistic base "Franz. Revolut. - General 1789". This porcelain French Revolution General figure will make a great addition to any Napoleonic collection.
This finely detailed and hand painted porcelain figure was manufactured by Friedrich Wilhelm Wessel of Frankenthal, Germany, founded in 1949. The porcelain figure is in very good condition. There is a small area of paint wear on the silver sabre. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs.
Measurements: Height 8 7/8 in. Width 3 1/2 in. Depth 2 3/4 in.
