Rootbeer Swirl Bakelite Vintage 1930's 40's Napkin Rings Set of 4
Here's a fabulous set of four vintage 1930's 40's Bakelite napkin rings in a deep rich translucent rootbeer root beer color with swirls of lighter colors. Almost like a faux tortoise shell. Light flows through them beautifully, they'd sparkle by candlelight.
These early 20th century plastics napkin rings or holders have a clean round deco design and that wonderful sound of clunk and feel, are heavy weight and test positive with simichrome. Each one measures 1" in height of the band and are 1/4" thick. The interior diameter is 1 1/2".
Superb to hold your napkins on your holiday harvest table, or any time of the year, they're in excellent condition.
I'm a long time bakelite collector myself, and these would make a lovely addition to your collection.
