Basket Weave and Stencil Vintage 30's Wooden Jewelry Box
Nice vintage 1930's 40's stencil painted wooden jewelry or storage box with a basket weave texture hinged with a mirror inside.
Nice detail. Top has flowers and leaves in a vase stencil painted, framed with scrolls. The border on the box is a raised molding trim of wood with a stylized egg and dart or open and close deco design. Scrolled bottom edges and feet. Very folk or tramp art look and very cottage chic.
Just the box to hold your treasures anything from jewelry to sea shells or flower seeds. Great vanity item.
It measures 4" tall by 7" by 9 1/4 .
