Beautiful circa 1900 embroidered smooth white cotton Christening gown dress features embroidered scalloped hems and a center pleat down the center front with scalloped edges also, The embroidery incorporates leaves and flowers that cover the front of skirt, sleeves and bottom edge of skirt back; the remainder of the dress has embroidered polka dots. Back is closed with 2 mother of pearl buttons.

Measures 18-1/2" long, 8-1/2" wide at shoulders, 6-3/4" long sleeves and has a 15" waist.
Front bodice has a small age stain, otherwise this is in excellent condition.
