German porcelain souvenir with just a hint of a spout at the rim opposite the handle, so it could be used as either a cup or a small pitcher. The hand colored picture shows the, "Buick Motor Co., Flint, Mich." a circa 1915 birds-eye view of the huge complex of plants built on the north side of Flint, Michigan. Cup is decorated only on one side, heavy gilding highlights the view.
Once the world's largest automobile factory, other than high class cars Buick workers also built aircraft engines and ambulances at Flint during World War I and Hellcat tank destroyers during World War II.
Condition: Gilding worn at rim and handle; porcelain body in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Marked with a circular black "Made in Germany" stamped mark on the bottom.
Measures 2 3/4 inches tall, has a bottom diameter of 2 inches and a top diameter of 2 3/8 inches.
