Antique 1890 Washington DC Capitol Sterling Silver Souvenir Spoon
This gorgeous Victorian era antique spoon is made of sterling silver. It has a detailed design of the capitol in the bowl. The handle is of the Washington monument and has twisting garlands. One of the garlands has an acorn and oak leaf design and the other has a laurel leaf design. The spoon measures about 4" long by about 13/16" across the bowl. It is marked STERLING PAT. NOV. 18 90. It is engraved DELIA on the handle. This spoon is over 120 years old! Very good antique condition with a nice warm uneven patina (tarnish) that we have left untouched. Please see the other Capitol spoons we are offering. You will treasure this!!!
