Charming French Faience by Sceaux with puce and teal/ aqua colors on a blush-pink ground that heavily coats a beige ceramic mold.with two cartouches of French country scenes with a couple of little lady bugs in flight. In very good condition for over 200 years old..very minor roughness on rim and slight ink staining, all shown on photos.. an unique rare find. Sceaux was founded in 1748 by Jacques Chapelle then sold to various owners until 1810 when production ceased.
