Another Antique French Faience "Nevers" "Quimper" Fluted/Lobed deep Plate of a Shepherd with his faithful dog at his side with two sheep. rich, deep enamels, some areas raised up as on tree to see a 3-D effect.. deep tin glazed.. He looks like a young Ben Franklin! Very well hand-painted and in very good condition with typical faience markings.. measures 9" wide x 1 1/2" high. very heavy, substantial potting and very charming too!
