Antique French Faience " Napoleon" Tin-Glazed Octagon Box with Butterflies

A lovely French Faience Octagon shaped box with a hand-painted figure of Napoleon on his white horse. measures 4 5/8" wide x 2 1/4" high . The enamels are raised and the surface is like an orange- peel glaze. Some very minor frits on rim under cover that does not show with cover/lid in place.
