Meissen Marcolini Girl with Pedestal 7" Tall circa 1800

A Lovely Meissen of a young woman,7" tall, with a classical contraposto stance,bare-footed, resting on a Ionic style faux-marbleized pedestal with a Gold crown on her hair that is finely painted, with applied lace trim. Beautiful face with eyebrows delicately painted in navy-blue!, with ruby-red lips. minor loss to lace and finger right-hand restored. Top of her dress is partially draped down exposing one of the two. Bas-relief base with C-scroll design Marked on bottom with the Marcolini mark of Meissen. Heavy-weight porcelain.
