Antique Nippon "Green Wreath" Azaleas & Calla Lilies Vase c, 1900
Lovely Antique Nippon with Hand-painted Pink Azaleas & Sculptured Calla Lilies on lower part that is high-gloss glaze where as the upper part is a matte glaze. Fine, moriage -beading on collar & foot , no losses, collar & handles of 24K. gold leaf, we have never seen these wide heavy ribbon handles on a Nippon vase. We see no imperfections except for a glaze /flea bite spot, about a 1/64, pencil dot,decimal point on the back. Green Wreath Mark of Morimura on base, heavy-weight. measures 10" H. X 5 1/2" W. across handles.
