A Fantastic Russian Oil Painting of New York City showing Protesters marching in a Square in front of a Russian Orthodox Church carrying banners with Russian writing, wearing hats, mittens and scarfs as the snow is falling. A Communist Rally? Trolley cars swirling with the buildings appearing to be as agitated as the Protesters. All in Vivid colours. The artist painted with heavy paint & strokes to achieve this hyper-tension. There is the Brooklyn Coney Island Ferris Wheel, Bridges, Boat, Seagulls and snow. A very spontaneous painting! Exciting! In super-clean condition; heavily varnished. Measures 36 " X 28" on a cotton or linen rough canvas.. Signed on back LUZONOV.
