Found at Tell Far'ah Israel, this unglazed red clay pottery two-handled jug is totally intact despite a professional repair at the lip. Inside there is significant soil accretion and a site shard impacted under one handle which has been left undisturbed. Measures 6-1/2" tall, 5-1/2" diameter. A nice early example from this archaeologically-rich area. It has been in a private Israeli collection for many years.
Like all of our antiquities, we offer 100% refund if not as represented.
