Found in an early Greek settlement in Italy, a brown, paint-decorated jug of fawn-colored terracotta with a bulbous body and applied strap handle. There is no major damage or signs of repair. Some chipping at lip and minor paint loss. Mineral deposits overall. A good example of early decorated classical pottery at an affordable price!
From an old Dutch collection. Measures 5-1/2" tall by 4" diameter.
