Bull Dogs - Schafer and Vater Match Strike

This match strike and match holder dates to 1934 or earlier. There are three chips in it: the brown dog's ear is chipped; there is a chip at the top back edge of the trunk (match holder); there is a chip on the bottom (but it does not affect the profile of the piece). This piece measures 4 1/8" wide x 4" deep x 4" high.

We intentionally left it uncleaned so that the inside bottom of the match holder could be seen.
