Porcelain ladies desk lamp

A charming early continental porcelain ladies' desk lamp with sculptured cherubs surrounding its base. The cherubs are hand painted in warm rich colors. Nestled between & below each figure are dimensional bunches of blooming roses. Accenting the base is a milk colored glass shade decorated with twelve small cherub musicians playing various instruments. The lamp has an in line switch & takes a low wattage bulb. The base reveals an old porcelain mark of double blue ink lines interlocking at the center & bears an impressed 442 number mark. The lamp measures 12.25" x 5.75" wide over all. The shade is nearly 5" diameter. The lamp is excellent save the absence of three thumbs.
