Terra cotta Figural (Daschund) tobacco jar

A vintage handmade terra cotta tobacco jar circa 1915 features a shy daschund puppy protruding out from an old burlap sack. Both puppy & sack are hand painted. The puppy seems to have some color loss over time but does not seem yo impact upon the overall charm of the piece. I think, tobacco jars like this are not easily found. It is signed with initials J M & a bell symbol. The piece measures 7.75" tall X 5.25" wide X 4.25" deep.
