This charming plate features three golden owls sitting on a gold branch. The plate was made by Westmoreland and designed by George West. The plate also has golden lattice edging on the bottom half of the plate. Remnants of the blue and yellow floral scene are visible in the center of the plate. The plate is stamped "Pat'd July 2. 1901" on the back of the plate. There is also a wire hook wound around the lattice border and the back of the plate for hanging purposes, but this could be easily removed. The plate measures approximately 7 ¼" in diameter. Some of the gold paint has worn off on the owls, branch, and lattice border. The plate is otherwise in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. What an adorable piece to add to your collection.
