This is a very beautiful four piece set. It features a covered butter dish, creamer, sugar, and spoon holder. They are in the "Gold Rose" pattern made by Northwood Glass, ca. 1910. This pattern has a heavily raised wild rose blossom and leaves on each side of the blossom. They are beautiful emerald green with gold trim. On the inside of them are the markings of an underlined N in a circle marking, which was used by Northwood Glass as their marking. The covered butter dish, is approximately 7" tall by 7 1/2". Some of the gold trim does show some wear due to age. There is a flee bite on the inside of the cover of the butter dish and a small bubble in the glass. The covered sugar with scalloped trim is approximately 7 1/2" tall and does show some signs of wear also. There are a couple bubbles in the glass as well. The creamer has scalloped trim, some wear in the gold and a few bubbles in the handle and by the spout. It is approximately 5" tall. The spoon holder has scalloped trim, some wear to the gold, a small flee bite, and a couple scratches in the glass. It is approximately 4 1/4" tall. Other than these blemishes due to age, this set is free of cracks and chips. If an individual piece is of desire, please contact us by e-mail. This would make a fabulous set to add to your collection.
