Extraordinary 1950s Black Silk Satin Dress *33/34"B24/25"W

An exceptional, knockout couture quality black silk satin, circle skirt, fin waist pleated dress with heart shaped, ruched bodice with metal stays. A small to extra small size. Impeccable condition. We have shown it here without a crinoline and prefer it this way. If you would like to see photos with a crinoline please request and we will happily provide them. Closes on the side with a gold metal zipper and two hook and eye closures. Unlabeled but design, materials and craftsmanship is top- notch. A show-stopping, timeless 1950s creation!

Measures 34-35" at the B; 24/25" at the waist; skirt length 31 1/2" and has a 2 3/4" hem to another 1/2" sewn hem; length of bodice from center of bust in the front 12"; length of bodice from center of bust in the rear 10"; dress has a strap (hidden in photos) 17 1/2" attaching at the top of the bra cups and wraps around the neck.

Requires a few stitches at the hem and slat openings if desired.
