Exceptional 1920's Gold Lame Beaded Dress - Great Sz

Celebrate a most special occasion in this sexy, elegant and show stopping 1920's dress. Oh, how we love lame! Flashing shimmering gold or haunting green-gold, the gold lame fabric is backed in a deep emerald green silk. The selvage is a green silk. Sparkling green and gold rose montees, green rhinestone navettes and seed pearls densely adorn the shoulders and the top of the waist sash. Measuring a very nice 42" across the bust, waist and hips, 52 long from shoulder to hem, and 58" at the swag, the bodice is lined in a green silk chiffon. Closes at the front with a single hook and eye assembly. A nylon slip (not original) is attached (we based measurements on the slip as well) - the hem is edged with lovely gold metallic lace. The original slip was most likely a light green silk chiffon since it is used to back the beaded shoulders and as straps for the slip. Excellent vintage condition. Some enamel loss to the seed pearls. Missing 2 of the green navettes~ we have located some stones from a brooch that we will include with the dress. Slip straps are shredding ~ recommend reinforcement.
