Hubert de Givenchy was the designer behind Audrey Hepburn's iconic style. An artful piece of fashion history, this lovely haute couture French dress features the very early Givenchy label and is hand numbered. Fashioned from resplendent pale pink lightweight taffeta, the dress has an extremely full skirt, embellished with two inserted panels striking out from the sash wrapping and closing at the rear with eye hooks. The fabric gathers amazingly at the waist and along both the panels. The lining is sheer ecru fairy-like silk. This dress is worthy of the Belle of the Beau Monde.
Dress is shown with medium-sized crinoline in all pictures but the extended skirt shot . Skirt closes at rear with snaps and hook-and-eye.
