9" German Bisque Head Scowling Indian Doll

9" Tall, German bisque socket head scowling Indian doll, with black pupiless inset glass eyes, and an open mouth with teeth. She has a five piece composition body with painted one strap heeled shoes. She has her original black mohair wig, headband and remnants of a feather, and original felt costume with painted decoration faux leather belt., floss trim and printed on the back is the word Germany. She was made after 1914 era. The back of her head is marked in a triangle C E & S (size) 8/o. I lighted her head and there are no cracks and no chips or repairs. She is in the original stringing. The inset eyes are original, but one eye is a little lower and looks down a bit. There is a tiny flake of paint off the front of her torso from storage. She has never been undressed or played with and and was carefully stored away in a chest for many years.
