Willi Foerster Signed Miniature Etchings

Willi Foester was born in September 1892 in Rothenburg Germany. Mr Foester came from modest circumstances but became a noted artist, working mainly with scenes of Rothenburg. He had his own studio in Plönlein where he concentrated on etchings and woodcuts. Later he worked with water colors and oil, paintings. Mr. Foerster died in March of 1965.
