Vintage Boyscout Ansonia Sun Dial Watch w/ Original Box
The old box has wear and the two tabs are missing, but the "watch" itself is in like new condition. Ansonia made this sundial / compass combination in about 1920. By determining your nearest latitude and facing directly north, you could use this sundial to determine what time it was. The Sunwatch is enclosed in a brass case with a push-button catch at the base. The case is 3 inches x 2 inches x 3/8 of an inch thick. The compass diameter is 3/4" and marked "Made in France".
