Grindley Brown Transferware Covered Vegetable Serving Bowl Milan Pattern
This is a very nice, late 1800's Staffordshire , Brown Transferware Vegetable Serving bowl. The bowl has applied side handles and rests on a small pedestal. The bowl is 8 1/2" wide and about 4 and 1/ 2 inches tall. The design is a fancy and elaborate floral. The Grindley pattern is "Milan" and the mark dates to between 1880 and 1891.
Condition Problems: Three small but tight hairline cracks on the bowl, under the lid. The lid seems to be fine.
