Madame Alexander Sonja Henie with her skates 14 1/2"
The Madame Alexander Doll Firm created some beautiful personality dolls and this 14 ½" Sonja Henie is a perfect example. She has an open mouth with a slight smile. She has upper teeth. There are dimples in her cheeks. Her cheeks are blushed. Her eyes open and close easily and her hair upper lashes are in perfect condition. She also has painted lower lashes and shadow above her eyes. Her original blond mohair wig is in its original set and still retains its bow in her hair.
She wears her original tagged skating outfit. The tag reads "Genuine Sonja Henie, Madame Alexander N. Y. U. S. A., All Rights Reserved". She wears her original high topped ice skates.
The finish of this composition doll is in absolutely flawless condition. There has been no repair or repaint but there are no cracks, crazing, flakes or paint splits. The doll's dress is gold but the panties and bow are a greenish/gold. The tag is in perfect condition.
