The Simon and Halbig firm created beautiful German doll heads and this shoulder head reflects their beauty. She is 18" tall and is in perfect condition. Her bisque shoulder head has no flaws. The paint finish is perfect and the bisque has no damage. She is incised "1250, Germany, 6 ½". She has open and close grey/blue eyes with lower painted lashes. There is detailed molding under her eye sockets to give them depth. Her brows are feathered. Her ears are pierced and she wears vintage earrings. Her complexion is rosy and she has a dimple in her chin. Her lips are open and she has four upper teeth. She has a darker pink heart shape on her bottom lip as Simon and Halbig often did. Her shoulder head is on her perfect leather body. The body has no weakness and in flawless condition. All joints move freely. Her jointed composition arms have their original finish and all fingers are intact. She wears a vintage outfit appropriate to her age. The white dress is very fine cotton material trimmed with lace. She also has a full slip, a half slip and pantaloons all of the same age. She has replaced leather white shoes and a replaced wig. She is dressed as a child but this mold is also often dressed as a young lady.
