Antique Moonstone Lavalier

This superb Victorian lavalier is set in silver gilt. It is beautifully designed with 23 lovely moonstones that are plump cabochon cut with sparking iridescence. The necklace is a classic Victorian delicate drop. The entire piece is set off by a charming, delicate ruby, centrally placed. Typical for the period, the necklace has wonderful movement with suspended gemstones and looped garlands. It is in excellent condition and measures 15 1/2 inches.
