Exceptional Antique Diamond Ring

This rare antique diamond ring was made in Europe. It is completely hand made in ROSE gold and the mount is stamped "585." The design is very unique with a large double foil hugging the central stone. Falling from these two circular discs is beautiful workmanship, including swirls and carved angular lines. The central diamond is a substantial size, high colour and good clarity. It is finely set with very fine gold beads securing the stone in four corners. The ring is in excellent condition. It measures size 5 1/2. This is one of the loveliest and most unusual antique diamond rings I've had in the collection.
