Antique - Nippon - Dragonware - Porcelain - Tea Set
This was a true find! We are offering this beautiful Antique Nippon Tea Set which includes a Covered Tea Pot which is 8" tall and 9" from spout to handle, Covered Sugar which is 5 1/2" tall, Creamer which is 4" tall at its lowest point, Six Snack Plates which measure 7" across and Five Cups which are 2" tall and Saucers which are 5 1/2" across. This set is back-stamped with the number 185 stamp covered in Joan Van Pattens 6th Series of Collector's Nippon. These pieces were manufactured in the late 1800's to early 1900's. Remarkably, there are no chips, cracks or fractures. Designed in the dragon motif - these pieces have wonderful moriage work and have beautiful hand-painted designs and colors throughout! Unbelievable find for any Nippon Collector!
