Farmers' Bulletin No. 1679. Clean, 18 page, illustrated bulletin stating, "The culture of the pop corn almost certainly antedates the discovery of America by Columbus. Although the records are meager there is good evidence that pop corn was known and used by the Indians of both North and South America before the coming of the white man."
