Great 8 page, illustrated leaflet describing, "Pumpkins and squashes are among the few food plants considered to be native to America...If properly handled and stored, a supply may be had from midsummer to late spring. In addition to their use as fresh vegetables, a large tonnage of pumpkin and squash is canned each year, the canned product being used largely for pie making."
