We are offering this beautiful set of Nippon! There is a three legged Powder Jar which was used to hold your face powder, hairpins or barrettes and measures 2 1/2" tall and has a 9" diameter. And, there is a three legged Hair Receiver which was used to store your hair after brushing so that you could make decorations, sew or needlepoint! Both pieces are back stamped with the green M in wreath mark per Joan Van Pattens Collectors Encyclopedia of Nippon Porcelain and date between 1911 and 1921. There is one small chip on the inside of the hair receiver which is not noticed until you take the cover off. There are no cracks or fractures on these pieces. The gold is showing wear which is typical of Nippon pieces from this era. This is a beautiful set!
